And Rodney jones from Peabody and a 6'7 prep player from California are visiting today I believe.

Looks like we are completely overhauling the team.

The rumor I have heard from different sources is that the player is from Stoneridge Prep. One of the best prep schools in the country.

After doing a little research, he may be closer to 6'8" and people say he is an unbelievable leaper with a solid frame, and the potential to put on even more muscle.

Mouton and James are scholorship guysbut i have heard they had the scholorships pulled but i dont know for sure.

And no I can't blame him at all. I thought we needed a big chance but I didn't think this big of a change would happen

Well c'mon guys, just b/c all these guys are getting signed, it doesn't mean that all of them will be on the roster next year. You actually think that Lee will field a team comprised mostly of Freshman?

You have to figure that Mouton and James will stay. Mouton b/c he's our only SR leader coming back and James simply b/c we NEED a big body down low. I'm not so sure about Hebert considering that we have 2 new PGs coming in, but you never know.

Let's just see who actually qualifies and comes here before we go kicking off the whole team.

With having six (or possibly more) freshman in the same class, I'm thinking some of these guys might be red-shirted. How does that work with the total number of scholarships? Would redshirting a few allow some of last years players to return?

I would like to at least see Barksdale return, every team can use an experienced PG. I know Hebert was the starter down the stretch, but Barksdale still got most minutes, and his defense improved at the end of the season as well.

If they red-shirt they still count against the scholorships.

    Damon Forest (signed)
    Willie Leggo
    Courtney Wallace (signed)
    Rodney Jones
    Abray Milson Juco (signed)
    Possible Prep player from cali
    Tyren Johnson (signed)
    Randle Daigle (signed)
    Elijah Milsap (signed)
    David Dees transfer
    Marquies Cooke (signed)

This is everyone who the coaching staff wants or that I have heard they are after that will be 11 of our guys next year that only leaves 1 scholorship lrft so that means that it will be a completely new team.

*I also didn't put La'Ryan Gary on the list because of the possibility of him not being eligible

Wow...Abray Milson, huh? I looked on the Southern Idaho website and saw him listed at 235 lb. That's a pretty signifcant beef-up since the last time I saw him play.

Well I saw him play a long time ago when I was at STM with him. He was really long and lanky back then, but that was 4-5 years ago. That's why I was particularly surprised about the weight. He used to remind me of that alien in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. You know, really long and skinny one?

Anyway, I remember him having a VERY good shooting touch around the basket. Not much on creating his own shot, but if you got the ball to him in a good post position, he was pretty solid from there. As far as rebounding goes, he got a lot of rebounds, but 6'9" guys can get a lot of rebounds in high school without even trying. And he's been 6'9" since he was a freshman in high school. So he could probably stand to get a little more aggressive on the boards.

But like I said, that's just what I remember from 4-5 years ago. Haven't seen him since.

Well with the amount of youth we will have on this team he might have to play an important role next year. But I guess will know more in the next few months after most of the signings have been made.

I don't think I have ever seen this happen in college sports..ever!...a total clean-out of an entire team! Well, if that is indeed the case, I hope all these new players pan out! Hopefully, they'll get to play some summer ball with each other to build up some team chemistry!
