having 25% of the top 20 ain't too bad. Let's hope these players live up to expectations and hype and help us get to the next level.

This is an excellent recruiting class no matter how you slice it (assuming all of these guys end up in Cajuns uniform that is). Lets start with some quality freshmen then fill holes with JC transfers.

Also, maybe you heard of a little team called George Mason - their tallest starter was 6'-7".

I agree with your assessment but it would be nice to have another big body....anybody know where the Center from McKinley is leaning?

Are we still in the running for Courtney Wallace?

Supposedly the center from McKinley has an offer from the Fighting Irish.

And the cajuns are still in the running for Courtney Wallace as well as possibly another wing player from Louisiana.

They will have to battle it out with an SEC school for the services of the wing player.

It appears that the coaching staff is taking somewhat of a grassroots approach to this team. They are going out and signing young, local talent to drum up interest in the program. These players will all be here for four years, and although next year many will be young and inexperienced. If they gel, the next three years could be extremely fun.

After following AAU, high school and college basketball, and watching a couple of Coach Lee's practices. I am beginning to think that what Coach Lee demands in terms of effort and execution will be best accomplished by four year guys.

Thanks for the info slappy...with as many high school guys as we have signed I wonder which players already on the team should be scared.

On Delphi BOP said Willie Leggo will probably sign by the end of the week and also the Cajuns signed 6-9 Aubrey Milson, formerly of STM and Northside out of a JUCO in Utah.

And Rodney jones from Peabody and a 6'7 prep player from California are visiting today I believe.

Looks like we are completely overhauling the team.

Can you blame Coach Lee. With the way the team underperformed last year and the only steady contributers all being seniors, the cajuns need an influx of new talent. I look for James, Hebert and Mouton to be back as they wouldn't be scholarship players. Everyone else I don't think there would be a spot for them.
