I agree. That's stupid. If the point is moving the kickoff up to avoid the high speed collisions on returns, then why take away the incentive to kick it in the end zone for a touchback? That makes no sense. Now you will see a bunch of higher kicks that land inside the 5-10 yard line and just as many collisions on returns. What's the point???

Mostly defensive guys writing the rules to get a longer field to defend!!!!!!! Now you got a power guy to kick a TB or a skilled sky kicker to keep them bottled up---and then you've got the Cajuns!!! Maybe we will see more of the aforementioned latter!!!!!
