And I've seen some of you that dislike the Swamp People show. I, for one, love it.

Pawn Stars is another story. I thought I was watching a show about Alabama folk.

Calling people from alexandria "Cajuns" is a travestry in itself. Add to that the main characters of this show are wannabees makes it unbearable to watch.

My new love is Storage Wars. If they ever started casting a Cajun Storage Wars I would be on that like stink on ____. It would prolly be in Shreveport anyway.

I don't know if people know it but Swamp People is one of the biggest shows on TV right now. Kinda cool really. And while most reality shows tend to treat the characters like clowns this show gives the hunters the dignity they deserve. So I like it.

The otgher thing i can't stand about Cajun pawn stars, besides the fact that they're rednexx from Alexandria & talk like they're from Ruston, is that they wear purple shirts with yellow embroidered on them. That's not Cajun either!!!

The show sucks no doubt. They are so hypothetical in their verbiage. Also, they could all stand to get on the Atkins diet and loose some of those fat asses they drag around. Such jerks who take advantage of people needing a little help. I have always thought pawn brokers were the biggest losers in the money trades. How many broken dreams have they bought and how many people have they really helped without sucking in big profits for themselves? Very few they have helped without a price! The guy who is Jimmy's brother, he is a joke for sure lol, guess he had to suck up to big brother in order to make a living for his scaly self. And that big sister of theirs, wow what a rump on that woman and they dont even care that they look so stupid on TV with those crooked teeth. Maybe they should also invest in some dental work for themselves. Please, history channel, put something better on TV besides these lard asses who scam people out of their goods ok.

This is such a silly statement.

Pawn shops are usually the best alternative for people who are in desperate need of money. A person who needs money will be able to pawn an item they probably don't need. They will get cash for it and still have a chance to get the item back should they want it back later. And if they don't get the item back there's no ding on their credit rating. It's a much better alternative than getting a loan and getting into further debt. Especially when a typical payday loan has an interest rate of at least 350% apr.

Pawn shops are good, fair businesses that have been around as long as money has been around. They provide a necessary service to those who use them. And I promise you very few pawn shops pull in the "big profits" you are thinking of.

My money comes honestly and with hard work. But to be a pawnbroker is spineless.
