He will mostly be missed because of his ability to rebound the ball from the gaurd position, his defense, and his ability to get out and run.

We will not miss him jacking up 3's, forcing shots, turnovers, offensive charges, and poor team chemistry.

If this guy wanted to really be a team player (play D, rebound, create energy and hustle, and be the 6th man spark plug) this could have been real special.

It has been awhile since we have said what if (if players woud have been eligibe the whole season, if Blaine Harmon would have got his SR. back, if Southall would have not been susended, and if Wade would have played his Sr. year). Now we can say what if Millsap would have stayed for his final two years.

I totally agree with you, I was hoping some of the chemistry from the Hawaii trip would return with them but it never happened. Many times Milsaps would try to go Kobe Bryant against 3 defenders instead of kicking it out to an open player. That player most of the time being Gradnigo. There was no Chemistry between these two on the court.

The second half at UNO was a good example. That 20 point led was built on hot shooting from the outside, but in the second half Milsaps chose to drive it to basket instead of trusting his teammates. He has great potential and I wish him the best, but this could be a good thing for the team. I really liked Bureau as a better fit for this team. He (Bureau) plays under control and has shown he can hit the big shots.

So how does this affect our APR for basketball? We just get "public noticed" by the NCAA and then this happens. I wish Milsap the best , but it seems like we take one step forward, by improved APR this past season, then two steps back with Milsap leaving.

Attrition does effect the APR as for as I know. Transferring may not effect as much as dropping out and may not effect it at all. If a player leaves early for the draft and gets drafted it does not effect the APR as much as the player not getting drafted such as Tiras Wade. Our APR will not be a question next season because no player is schelduled to graduate so if the current players don't drop out of school we should be fine. Now in 2 and 3 years the program will be really tested because many of our current players will be Sr's.

As long as he transfers and stays in school, we will be fine with the APR.

We were not a very good team with him playing a major role. It hurts a little because we all saw the potential, but as you said, he did not mesh with the team concept. To bad he was not more like his older brother.

I totally disagree with you on this one. I'm not sure if you went to the games last year or not but E was one of those guys who had a promising first year and then his game didn't improve. He had better talent around him last year and didn't shine at all. For the most part he looked lost on the court. He was a starter at the beginning of the season but lost his job due to inconsistant play. He forced a lot of shots in the in and became and offensive liability w/ his turnovers. I wish him all the luck but he wouldn't have been anything more than a bench player this season.

I don't know about you but I like this starting 5. And then there's a few more centers coming in that may be interchangable with the 5 listed. And lets not forget about a decent bench w/ Bloom, Dison, Wallace, Lago. I know we have got a ways to go but I can't wait for some Cajun BB!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all, that's just the sort of news that will help lower expectations to a workable level.
