    Couldn't disagree more with this statement.

    We had no goodwill left over from Delhomme in football. What we had was a program who hadn't been to a bowl game and a program where no head coach, after being fired, had ever coached again ANYWHERE until Bustle was hired by Tulane.

    We had an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament in women's basketball just five years ago.

    A middle of the pack salary in this league will do fine. And it will be twice as much as we paid Kelley Hall when he first got here.

    Memo to Getthefactsfirst: Track was so-so? LOL... Badeaux has three kids in the indoor national championships in his first year. Depth will come with time, and we will be better outdoors than indoors. Maybe you should follow your name's advice.

    2 Questions;

    1. Is Louis Cook available?

    2. Can he coach womens basketball?

    (sorry, someone had to do it!)

    I'm sure any coach will be impressed with the beatiful Earl K Long gym.

    J. Kelley Hall considered EKL an incredible home court advantage.

    Coach speak Turb, you cannot take it at face value. Yes it is a tremedous advantage vs playing in front of 300 people in a 13K seat arena.

    What needs to happen? Tare down Blackham and rebuild it for basketball, volleyball and seat about 4000k people. Short of that totally refurbish Blackham to seat 3600k people and make it a great venue for these two sports.

    Or better yet get the F*!king Ice Gators out of the Cajun Dome so it can become a good basketball arena again. You know no warping of floors, no crappy endcap seats, extending the seating to the proper level on the sidelines.

    I second the Ice Gator part.

    Actually, it wasn't coachspeak. Kelley said it publicly and privately many times. He didn't like playing in the Cajundome.
