Cole Stafford Signs Track Scholarship with Louisiana

I love the way the signing was worded at St Paul. It went something like this, University of Louisiana located in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Also love these young people choosing UL to spend the next four to five years of their lives with. It will be a great relatiionship for the school and the players.

Nice. The Northshore is loaded with UL alumns. Unfortunately, up until the last couple of years our administration had done a really ____ poor job of making them feel wanted. Thats all changing now.

How is it "all changing now?"

I have lived on the Northshore (in Mandeville) for over 8 years, and I have seen nothing new.
There are a few of us who regularly fly the Ragin Cajun Flag on weekends and travel to Lafayette for sports, but other than that there is almost NO UL interest that I can see from the university......

Cole's a great kid and competitor. I am so happy he's going to be a Cajun! Ole Pete does a great job with those kids an he will be ready to compete from day one! This kid will win the SBC in his events at least 2 of his four years. Book it!
