Good turnout, and the team put on a good show...I'll just say this: Deon Wallace did NOT disappoint. Our running game is going to be stacked this year.

Did notice we had problems getting the ball in the QB's hands from the center position on a few occasions.

The offensive line looked a little out of it on passing plays but on the run they looked good. The defensive line and linebackers looked improved from last year which is nice.

The running game is GOOD!!!

The Qb's looked good at times and off at others but thats to be expected in the spring. Cherry and Nevels impressed at WR.

Didn't pay a lot of attention to the DB's but someone else might be able to tell you more about them.

All and all this years team at this point compared to last years team at this point, is way better in my opinion.

QB: Babb & Desormeaux - What we all knew - Both played well
Hundley & Morrel - Up & Down - a ways to go
RB: Stacked; In addition to Fenroy and Wallace, I liked what I saw in Roberson the couple of times he was in - showed power on a 4th and short carry
WR: Spotty - but good plays by Cherry and Nevels; Both showed good speed
OL: Spotty, but I thought the back-ups played well - much better than I expected
DL: Looks to be improved - pass rush may be promising
LB: Probably the position I least observed - no noticeable busts
CB: Pretty impressed, good tight coverage most of the time - QBs had to throw away a lot of passes - good DL pressure and no where to throw
S: Needs work - got beat more than once deep
P/K: HELP

Well, getting michael adams and kyle ward back will take care of most of that. Plus i think torres kingsby and johnny felders were out. Our offensive line will be fine when all of our starters are on the same team. We do need to fix the problem of the center to qb exchange. That will come in time but we run a lot out of the shotgun. i think we will receive some help defensively with the incoming class. Fred davis and the safety from texas i can't think of his name right now. As far as this team goes, The athletes we have now are a different breed than the athletes from the past few years.
