We could be playing with 8 men. If no one tries the result will be the same. Very disappointing effort. I am not excited to go to the final home game.

I think the "not trying" thing is overplayed.
We have mediocre-to-poor shooters, and they're all having a bad night.
Plus we have no #1 guy or singular leader to pull us out of ruts. (maybe Mclellan?)
Because of this, blowouts happen
Ok fair enough on the poor shooters.
This does not explain all the open layups and fast breaks!
How many times was a DU player driving and not one Cajun steps in the lane to help. What I saw tonight is a good defensive team NOT TRYING!!!
Elfrid just got faced. But came back with a clutch assist! Go Cajuns!
Yeah... you can only play "catch-up" so many times before you are just too deep in the hole to come back. We let them frustrate us too much too early. We seem to be on an upswing right now, but it doesn't look good.
Exactly. It's not our offense; they get open looks. It's not our coaches; we win close games more often than not, and that's a sign of good coaching. It's not our effort; we play with good hustle and (usually) tight defense every game. We just have some generally poor shooting.
AMT needs to keep shooting
Buts, a team needs to be prepaired for times like this with offensive plays that end in layups. At least we could make Denver run around on defense, they are resting on defense just standing next to stationary Cajuns.
70% this half, 4 for 4 from 3-point range this half... wow
How hard is it to play on the road in Denver?
