Confusing Attendance

Ok i am really get confused by the attendance numbers.

Thursday Night we had 4125 and it was decently packed in there
Saturday Night we had 3918, but it seemed like we had half the crowd there from thursday

I cant be the only one confused by these numbers

Crowds looked pretty similar from where I was sitting.

I may be wrong but I think we are annoucing paid attendance, in one we had the paid show up, and new butts in the seats, and the other not so many new butts, and the already paid at a parade.

yeah i believe that is it to

its just, whats the point of scanning tickets and ID's
it is not that hard to count the number of people who actually entered the game

i dont i guess from the student section i cant really tell that great

but the number of cars was no comparison to thursday night

I think I heard there was a function (Mardi Gras ball?) going on in the convention center next door that night. That may explain the difference in the number of cars.

And Saturday night there were functions going on in several suites overlooking bb; those numbers count.

Basketball attendance is down across the board in Louisiana. There just really isn't a high level of interest in the sport in our state.

There is one thing though about Thursday night---As the game went on more people filled up the empty seats and they had to come from SOMEWHERE---I think that they came late and that they were not counted in the total attendance!!!!

I'm sure it has to do with the fact that every basketball team in the state is doing poorly this season.

Boomer work tackled me and I got to the game late. I bought my ticket and walked in 5 minutes before half time, took some pictures . . .

When I went in, a couple dozen were outside waiting till half time so they could get in free.

By the way I have a picture of you leaving your seat before the game was over . . . just like at the New Orleans bowl
