Missing from Spring roster:

WRs Kevin Robbins, Corey Fredrick, and Eddie Brown (must be a by-product of a highly successful running game)

RS Fr OL Michael Canon
RS Fr DL Seth Adams
RS Fr CB Dustin Miller (baseball?)
RS Fr DB Gerron Blount
Prop DE Terrell Richardson (if he's in school, he may not be eligible until Fall Semester)

Anyone know if we will get a JC DL in the Fall? Dion Gales or Gerard Lee?

It seems that I heard that one of the D-lineman maybe Richardson was grey shirting. That means he was not in school so he can get his academics right and then will still have 5 years to play 4. I sure hope Seth Adams is with the team next year, he seemed to have alot of size and potential.

Why would you even take that shot when it is not even true.

Our best receiver last year was a disciplinary problem. We have had more than one player get arrested this offseason.

Coach Lee kicked a player off who was a discipline problem. He was also struggling at 0-4 and suspended players when he desperatley needed a win for the sake of discipline.

Discipline problems are a part of it.... Doesnt mean you have to like it, or agree with it.

There is not one school anywhere, especially in this state, that hasnt had problems....Our problems at UL are mild compared to most...

Just ask the Duke University Lacrosse Team.

I agree with you most of these kids are between 18-22 years old. Most of the learning in college done out of the classroom is by making mistakes then owning up to them.

I think it is wrong to blatantly throw one sport under the bus and put the other sport on a pedastol when it is not true. Thats my only argument. I have no problem with the character of members of the football team.

I went to the Sun Belt website and they had the Spring Football Prospectus for each team in the league. I happened to look at the roster and noticed they had listed Kevin Robbins, Corey Fredrick, Eddie Brown, Seth Adams, Gerron Blount and Terrell Richardson. But they did not have Canon nor Miller.
Maybe someone who has been out to the practices can fill us in on who is there and who will not be back on the team.

My understanding is that Brown and Robbins are WR's who will not be back. I also understand that Frederick is a WR not participating in spring practice in order to concentrate on academics. Hopefully, he will take care of this part of his business and be available in the fall.

The first Louisiana Tech versus University of Louisiana-Lafayette make-up game has been set for Wednesday at 3 p.m. on J.C. Love Field. The series was originally slated for Feb. 17-19, but harsh weather conditions forced all games to be postponed. The second make-up game will be April 12 at 3 p.m., while the third game will not be played due to conflicts of schedule. The Bulldogs will put their four-game winning streak on the line when taking on No. 3 nationally-ranked Mississippi State tomorrow night at home before hosting UL-Lafayette Wednesday.

as far as FB is concerned, i dunno if they lookin to play a runner or a blocker or a combination of both, but i see they moved that grotefend boy over to fb, think he was a 2nd or 3rd TE before, i went to school with his older brothers and hes a big guy, would make an excellent blocking TE if thats what they lookin at, since they got some solid guys at HB, but i dunno much about what they doin or how they plannin their starting lineup so thats just my personal knowledge of the player
