    Default Lady Cajuns vs UALR

This Wednesday at The Long, I will be attending my first women's game of the season. A lot of things have been said about the program, and the direction it's going. True, they haven't won a conference game, and we can all point fingers. But the fact of the matter is...it is the ladies out there playing for 40 minutes. If you can't support the coach, then don't. It's your choice. But come out tomorrow night and cheer on the ladies who are trying so hard to get that win. Geaux Lady Cajuns!!! Beat UALR!!!

Exactly right. As someone who attends most home games, I can tell you these ladies play hard for 40 minutes. They deserve support. Regardless of the team's record, they do represent the school well with their level of effort. Thanks for your post. Well said.

Well for those of you who have had the opportunity to read our comments, tonight at Earl K. Long Gym, your Lady Cajuns will compete against a tough UALR Lady Trojan program. It's not going to be an easy game. Rarely are most games. But I will be in attendance cheering on a group of hard-working student-athletes trying to pick up win #1 in the conference. Why (you might ask) have I decided to make this game my first appearance of the season? Because these ladies need me and others like me to be there for them. And quite frankly, I'm guilty of pointing a finger or two, and I'm sick of doing just that. Ultimately, it's these ladies who put their blood, sweat and tears into this program, and I'll be there tonight to root for them. So if you're passionate as I am about supporting this school and this team, you'll be at Earl K. Long Gym tonight to see a great group of ladies play their hearts out for 40 minutes of basketball, and maybe you'll be there to celebrate this team's first conference victory. GEAUX CAJUNS!!!

First off, ladies...you have nothing to be upset about. You tried hard. But instead, if anything, I am sorry that you all were not prepared for this game. And that falls on your head coach and his staff's shoulders. Y'all have 5 games left. I hope you all are able to come away with at least 1 conference win.

I'm very proud, as always, of the effort of this team. It's hard to lose 3 of your 4 6-footers and win. Despite this, the ladies
never give up and play their hearts out. Thank you for representing the school so well. I also hope that conference win comes soon. All of you deserve it.
