NEW DESIGN FOR PRIDE OF ACADIANA MARCHING BAND UNIFORMS

The Pride of Acadiana Marching Band will have a new look in time for the upcoming football season.

The band held a contest that allowed fans to vote for their favorite design among three final uniforms. After more than 5,200 votes, fans selected the first design as the favorite.

Voting ended Feb. 13.

Band Director Brian Taylor said hats and color guard uniforms will be designed to match the band uniforms. "Now, we start on those designs and customize the band uniform," he said.

The "official" winner came in second in the (unofficial) favorite unifrom poll, and second in the (unofficial) least favorite unifrom poll.

It can't be done very often, but I think every great poll should have a favorite and least favorite.

In the biggest (unoffical) poll ever Coach Hud had the most positives in the favorite poll, and the fewest negatives in the least favorite poll.

When you can pull that off you know you have a winner.
