When is the last time a Cajun scored 27 or more points in a game?

McClellan had 28 vs FIU on Jan. 14. JJ Thomas had 28 vs South Alabama last season (Jan. 30, 2011). McClellan's points vs FIU were the most by a Cajun since Tyren Johnson had 30 twice in February 2010 & 31 vs Sam Houston State (coached by Bob Marlin) on Dec. 5, 2009.

Like others mentioned Darshawn at 28 points agains FIU. And Mbamalu scored 19 a few games ago against North Texas. I think next year, Mbamalu will be one of our go-to guys for scoring. Especially with Josh Brown leaving :tear:

I notice there is a little rage in "encourages" and that isn't bad for the group that owns the first couple of rows in the "Rage Cage"

Some close to the program believe we should make Mbhamalu a focus of the offense NOW as he consistently shoots well in practice. In the games, he loses confidence if his first couple don't go in. On the other hand, once he makes one or two, watch out. That is what happened against UNT and Troy. Therefore we should try to get him going early with plays that may result in going to the line or a high % shot.
