What a bunch of losers complaining about officials after a close loss. It's a good thing we don't have pages and pages of complaining about officials after a close loss on this forum :/ I guess we all get caught up in the moment from time to time, and I can empathize with the feeling. I guess the difference is that he is supposed to maintain professionalism as a member of the press. Oh well, the past is the past and the future is now. Let's keep winning!! Geaux Cajuns!!

I've had some dealings with Mitch Hyder, and he seems to be very professional. He is a very good broadcaster, as well. I wouldn't let one emotional moment taint ya'lls opinion of him. He reminds me a lot of the Wags guy who was at New Orleans. I think he and Jaybird are "buds".

I know at one time he wanted to be the broadcaster at MT. His wife is from this area, I believe.

Hey, it's Ok to go ballistic on a call but he took it to another level when he started being critical of the team members 'acting like they are entitled to the call'. You ever see a basketball player not act like he is entitled to a call?

I was at the game, I was closer to his players on thier offense than he was and at no time did I believe in the last play of regulation did I think we fouled anyone, I was surprised there was not one called because there was a lot of bumping going on when the ball was being bounced around without possession. I cannot speak of the foul at the end of overtime, but on a clean breakaway, and a long uncontested run to the basket Payton is not blowing that shot without being interfered with. He is a very good lay up player.

The best thing about the game Thursday is that DU will never be back as a Sun Belt opponent. The worst thing is I will never get to watch them suffer though yet another hated night in the Cajun Dome.

I am looking at the coaching in this league and IMO things are going to get a lot better for most of these teams pretty quick. Next year or so. That means things are going to get a lot better for fans. I can recall the great crowds for the WKU, USA, and UNO rival games. Now with Middle getting really good, I can see lots of nights when the facilities are packed.

For me it crossed the line when he started insinuating that the Dome was straight trash and a miserable place to play. Kept saying things like "we never get a fair shake in this place" and blah blah blah. Pretty sure it wasn't the Dome that made those calls Hoss. Glad he left to go back to his home, home on the range and cried himself to sleep
