Part of a "good job" is meeting the terms of the contract, which includes a specific completion date...and making sure to pay your subcontractors so as not to hinder the progress of he project. When those two things are taken into account, this contractor's grade falls to an F.
It is very difficult under Louisiana law to exclude a private contractor from bidding on public jobs...but it CAN be done. This contractor should be banned from future projects.
Yea, being on time ain't no big deal. What is the rumor in return for lack of timely performance they added hundreds of thousands of dollars in stuff, you know stuff that they sell for a dollar and costs them a nickle.
Speaking of unbelieveable overs in time try the civic project on Airline Higway in Jefferson. Multiple milliions of dollars been slowly building for oveer 5 years. These contractors know all the tricks to stay within contract and yet be out.
I want to do business with a contractor who tells me it will cost this, and be ready by this date. No BS about plan changes, weather, and all the other excuses built into public projects.
Who was the contractor?
I haven't seen any either. Which is why I believe they will not be started after the season. Also, we have no state approval yet.
Well you can all ask Robe on the Mr. Bitter show this Saturday morning.
If we were a go to start construction after this season, why would there not be drawings to show recruits?
Do you need state approval with private funding?
I have a gut feeling that baseball and track may have been pushed back to satisfy football.
