You guys did not understand my point-I don't expect a 6 and 20 record due to David Dees and Marquis Cooke. We will have several freshman next year. It is only natural freshman struggle some. My point is that Coach may take a slight amount of lumps with freshman in order to build for the future. I expect these freshman will improve substantially by the end of the year. We will then be ready for three strong years. If that occurs but the record is not as strong as we would like, it would serve no purpose to fire Coach Lee. Remember- those new guys will have come here expecting to play for him. If there is no improvement throughout the year, that is a different story.Originally Posted by cajunlove
Why you people hate LSU so much is beyond me. We aren't in your conference, and how does us doing well do anything to you other than bring more attention to the state of Louisiana? I don't have a problem with ULL and would just as soon wish for you to win your conference than everything. Why do we have to fight among ourselves when we both should be a lot more worried about our out of state conference opponents.
We wouldn't have a problem with LSUA&MC if it wasn't for the interference in our attempts to improve our university. My experience with that goes back to the mid 80's beginning with the name change fight and continues today. Others can point to examples going back even earlier. We here at UL have been wondering for a long time now why State and its supporters feel the need to have us fighting each other. But it seems that is as much a part of the infamous "Louisiana way" as political corruption.Originally Posted by Geaux5000
Here's to hoping that will change.
Well first you can start by calling us UL. Second start playing us in baseball and softball.Originally Posted by Geaux5000
There was a streak of like 50 years in football and 30 years in basketball that the two schools did not play each other. That is pretty sad when the two schools are only 50 miles apart. They are playing now, but of coarse only on LSU turf and court.
expect more visitors.. you are being watched...

Like tonight an Older guy I work with said I was stupid (that was his exact words) for support UL and not LSU. Funny thing is he didn't attend college and has no experience with either school. He proceeded to tell me that UL should have stayed 1aa...when I told him we were a charter member of 1a and has never been 1aa he proceeded to argue with me because he thought he was right. This is the type of people that make me HATE LSU.
I visited and replied to LSU Deek.Originally Posted by locoguano
