No he turned that job down. And for some reason I think they may have swayed Jackson to FIU. I could be wrong though.

I'm thinking FIU may have promised Cristobal more money to make him stay, or he's very loyal.
I would also like to reiterate what raginsaints said, we have lots of options already at WR so Jackson may have gotten lost in the fray anyhow. I'm not that bummed about losing him because I wasn't 100% convinced he was coming here anyway.
