I'm confident Hud will get these boys under wraps. If yall have heard him speak about the 8 second card all of the players are required to carry at all times... he knows what he's doing.

You never know how someone will do, when they get to college. But, seeing the type of player that I'm seeing HUD recruit, I'm just floored. These are big time defensive players that I thought would take another two or so years to start getting. It reminds me of the Nick Saban type defense; you get big quick players and tell your DBs to be at their best - the front 5-7 will handle all runs, DBs must be all over passes. The defense seems to be the weak point in the the armor for the Cajuns, last season. Now, with the offense coming back, and this progress being made on defense...

All I can think of is Keith Jackson - WHOA NELLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tech only had 21 scholarships to give. Three went to preferred walk-ons, 2 JUCOs. 16 total scholarships to give. 12 LOIs in at 10:17.

With Jackson, seeing as the grayshirts arent listed right now, could it be that he was one of the other grayshirts? We know with the numbers we have that some others were going to have to be grayshirted and no one was sure of all the guys that would end up on that list. Morgan and Celistan for sure but perhaps Jackson was another.

Right now, probably B-. I am not a huge fan of recruiting rankings. Too many wild cards. Can the kid really play? Stay out of trouble? Make the grades in college?

Scelfo is supposed to announce tonight and fax in paperwork tommorow.

My final grade will depend on the final couple of scholarships.
