Does anyone one know if the two Seniors, Randell Daigle and Wendell Thibeaux, of Northside High are being recruited by the Cajun's? If not...did any of the noted prospects live up to their billing?

I believe Courtney Wallace scored 19 pts friday in Woodlawn's loss to John Ehret. I do not believe we are recruiting either Thibideaux or Daigle. Daigle I think will be a solid college player but neither of them play a position that we are in need to feel right now.Originally Posted by RaginEsquire06
The guy to look at for Northside is Kevin Broussard. He was only a freshmen and in 8th grade he had people all over the state watching him play because of the way he can shoot the ball. He is a great perimeter player and he will only get better as he plays more.
We are recruiting Daigle and in fact have an excellent chance to sign him. We are also recruiting Elijah Milsap of Grambling. Johnny Simmons is the assistant coach recruiting these two guys.
If we are recruiting both of them I think we will have to get rid of a few players we already have on scholorship espicially if we are planning on signing any big men for next year. If my count is right we only have at most 2 scholorships to give but I could be wrong.Originally Posted by Cajunsmike
This leads me to believe the writing is on the wall. Ford and Grey must be done, because they wouldn't be offering so many scholarships if the coaches expected these guys to return.
Also could we have seen the last of Turner...and maybe Pesoli???Originally Posted by campo118
I am expecting Ford to be back. I am not sure about Grey. It is possible some of the guys on the squad this past year may not return. I don't know which ones will and which ones won't.Originally Posted by campo118
Pesoli did nothing for me. Not a loss in my opinion if he goes...Originally Posted by Clutch0364
What happen to Pesoli? Didn't he have an injury or something? Why did his playing time dwindle down to so little? I thought he played pretty good defense...blocked a couple of shots...What's the deal here?Originally Posted by Jason

I also don't recall Ford being that great of a defender...please correct me if I'm wrong!
I think it would be great to have Ford back...if it's not gonna take half of the season for him to gel with the team...Also, I really hope our Coaches keep the core group of players that contributed this past season...It seems to me that if Mouton, James, Barksdale, Turner, Fields, and Hart are kept together, it will be more productive than negative...even though all of them need to step up their game in my opinion to be Champions...but it's possible!
Clutch...why do you think Turner is on his way out? Maybe I'm missing something! :confused:Originally Posted by Clutch0364
To me he seemed a cancer to the team. That is an opinion but he was suspended more than once this year and didn't live up to his potential. I would like him back because I can see the talent he has but if letting him go means bringing in a talented freshmen I will take the freshmen.Originally Posted by RaginEsquire06
I have been hearing we offered Daigle from Northside, Courtney Wallace, and Elijah Milsap and if we still have th offer out to Marcus Hubbard I just don't know where all these scholorships are coming from. We are losing that 1 scholorship and the only way I see us signing that many is if 1 or 2 players aren't returning. I'm just trying to figure out where we are getting the scholorships from, if anyone else has info on where I would really like to hear it. Maybe BOP can let us know.
