The way we play at FTs & TOs today, you were lucky. You'll live longer. Not much fun. So inconsistent. No wonder Marlin's hair is reducing by the day.... only fair. Glad Josh stepped up but a number of people (unnamed) sure missed some critical FTs at the end. And defense on their top 3 scorers was??? Wish we could hit for their averages. Just glad we won on the road against the worst team in the Belt. I'll take 'em all this year.

When anybody makes an away trip try to get some photos---The photos from the UL football game in Monroe are just humiliating for them ----I hardly remember the TECH Tarps---BTW anybody have pictures----Very humiliating and the things that recruits need to see----Some say this is negative---yes the truth hurts!!!

Boomer, here is the deal. I hope like hell we are not going after ULM recruits in basketball. Did you see Mitchell today, he is a beast and I can only hope we go after players like that in the future. I know he kind of fell into their laps, like Michael Southal for us, and Ervin, Baby Magic, Johnson for UNO. But when I look at the North Texas teams, the two Florida teams, the Middle Tennesee teams. Well let me just say if we are getting MoanRow players then we probably will have teams that play like the MoanRow Hoax teams.

We actually shot a higher FT % than ULM did in yesterday's game. We also had less turnovers than they did and badly outrebounded the Warhawks. Why then was the game so close? 3 point shooting is the answer. They hit 9 of 18 while we hit 4 of 16 from beyond the arc. Brown is likely a better shooter than anyone we have. In addition to that shortcoming, cajun67 is right in that the turnovers and FT shooting must get better. Quite a few of the free throws missed were from our freshman point guard. That is more youth than ability. He needs to develop a routine and stick with it. Once that happens, his % will improve.

While we did out rebound them on paper it didn't really seem to be because of skill, ulm's offense woul shoot then immediately transition back to defense leaving us open to grab the rebound. Hopefully it did help our rebounding confidence though, we'll need it for Denver Thursday.

I do hope so. He has great potential. Just wish he could develop the FTs sooner than later.
