    That's why we won.

Tony Mitchell is a man beast.

I thought he was a good player. i didn't see anything last night that made me think he was a beast. if I had not heard from Jay before the game that he was a "lottery pick" type player, I would not have noticed him that much.

i think he is way too cocky, he looks like he thinks he is lebron james or something. he arrogantly put up that game winning airball. i think he tried the hold my beer and watch this s h i t, and it backfired. in warmups he kept throwing himself ally oops off the backboard. he will fail because everyone around him has told him how good he is, instead of telling him to change his attitude JMO

Gotta give major credit to Darshawn McClellan and whichever guard was on the court at the time to help out (usually Raymone.) Excellent defensive effort on Mitchell all night. He really had no great looks for the most part. Kadeem did his job getting to the rack on offense to draw the fouls too.

It is tough when we miss so many apparently easy shots. We had several shots in the last few minutes that Jay said went part of the way down and came back out. BUT --- they did hold on for the win!
I was pretty ____ed about that because with just one more point we could have gotten free chicken. I thought we were getting it for sure when they were at 62 with that much time left. Dangit.

It looks like Mitchell has to get better between the ears. He never got in the flow of the game and that is what the NBA is all about.

I agree. And, as someone pointed out above, he could lose the cocky play.

I want to say it was between 3-4 minutes left that we had the 10 point lead. This has been our story all year...Inconsistency. We will play well for spurts but equally poorly for similar spurts which never gets you anywhere. We were able to hold on last night thank goodness and we actually hit free throws but I agree, I was really hoping we'd put that game away and win by 10-12.

I knew we'd win. I just wanted some free chicken.

Of course you didn't. However, if you extrapolate his state out to the minutes he normally plays. (17 min to 34). He would have Had 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The guy is a lottery pick. He has been the SBC POW 3 straight times playing all different teams on the road and at home. We were very fortunate to get him in foul trouble. I don't think we will be that lucky in Denton.
