UNT had two shots to win or tie in the last 15 seconds, but missed... whew! That was too close after being up by 10. We only scored 2 points after getting up by 10.

Cajuns led 62-52, but end up winning 64-62. Don't recall what the time was when we got the 10 point lead, but I think there was about 5 or 6 minutes left. It is tough when we miss so many apparently easy shots. We had several shots in the last few minutes that Jay said went part of the way down and came back out. BUT --- they did hold on for the win!
Good win! It seems like giving up a big lead towards the end is becoming a trend for this team. I have asked this before but could it be a conditioning issue? We all saw how valuable conditioning is at the end of games this football season. Just wondering
I wouldn't call it a conditioning issue as much as a tempo issue. If we give up a quick basket at any point in the game the team feels the need to try and do the same thing to them and consequently we get out of control and either take a bad shot, or turn the ball over. They will need to learn to stay cool under pressure while playing with the lead to have a legitimate chance at the conference's auto spot.
What a fabulous defensive effort---Raymone and Mbamalu are just unreal and the rest did very well---We just can't shoot from outside and Bryant is 3 for 4 tonight---Every night it seems like somebody new but just that one hits that night---Maybe we explode soon---A WIN however!!!!
I sure hope Tony Mitchell goes pro after this year. Thank goodness he was in foul trouble. Do not wanna see that guy play a full game against us.
