Calgary Stampeders Tryouts today

Former UL O-Line coach Mike Gibson was on the SportsNote www.SportsNote.net this morning.

Mike is the current Assistant Head Coach of the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadien Football League, and he will be heading a Stampeder tryout at the Louisiana IPF on Feb 4th.

I don't have all the information I was just listening to the SportsNote and picked this up.

Calgary is a beautiful place I spent a week there when I was in highschool. I might have to break out the cleats and see if the intramural skills translate over boarder.

I'm signed up. I figure with my 4.5 forty, 75 yard in air passes, GQ looks and all my charisma I feel pretty confident in being the starter next season. I'll be willing to sign some autographs after the tree outs.

Number of Cajuns in attendance .. overall a real good turn out .. which makes me believe that mike will return back up north w/out having to be thinking of excuses to tell his head coach why he pushed for them to host one of the 14-16 they do around the nation every year, here in Lafayette .. (hee-hee)

ps. If I were to guess, I got an idea what ex Cajun that will be invited to Tampa for the Stampeders rookie camp..
