According to our meteorologist the average high this time of year is 62. The low 43. Today's high was an unseasonably warm 78 degrees.

"I'm in shorts and a short sleeve shirt in January, unbelievable."

"I was thinking sweat pants and a long sleeve shirt, but we're sweatin' in short sleeves."

While people are enjoying the mild temperatures some say they were hoping for some winter weather this year.

"It's not bad, I wish it was a little cooler though."

"I would love for it to be a little cold, because we get so little cold here, I'd kinda like to wear some of my winter clothes."

Others say they wish it would stay like this year round.

"I love this kind of weather, I wish the winter would just go away and just keep like this."

One thing everybody can agree on is how frustrating it can be to see the temperatures constantly change this time of year from hot to cold, but for today no one is complaining, they're just enjoying a nice day in the park.

"This isn't bad, the mosquitos aren't out, the kids are able to come play, everybody's in the park, it's a great time."
