He is out for the season, I believe, due to a wrist injury which required surgery. He may be back next year (he'll be eligible, but may graduate and choose not to come back, as I understand it).

    Default Basketball Season Opener

I know it is easy for folks to overlook basketball tonight. Opening round of high school playoffs tongiht with a home football game tomorrow makes it easy to do. However, tonight's game counts on the record. According to the paper our opponent does not have much inside and is guard oriented. It will be interesting to see how we do guarding dribble penetration and if David Dees is more relaxed. I will be interested in what those of you able to make the game have to say about it. After tonight, no more tuneups. First road game is against Ole Miss on Tuesday night. They are an SEC team with four starters back.

Is this game really our season opener? Quachita Baptist has the game as "exhibition" on their schedule. Not that it matters, but definitely curious.
