It's going to be a tough conference race this coming season. Everybody else should be fighting for #2.

I think next year will be interesting. I'm hoping we don't have that drop back year where we don't meet expectations after a great year before. Our offense will be putting yards and points up but I'm concerned about the defense, namely the dline. I'm just hoping we can develop some pass rushers there and some depth all around.

I expect FIU, WKU, ASU and possibly even ULM to be competing with us for first place.

Just the same, I don't see ASU finishing 4th either. I think that ULM will be better than people realize and WKU still returns a ton of starters albeit no Bobby Rainey.

Rainey WAS their team. Without him or an equal replacement, they are a middle of the pack team.

ULM will be outcoached once again. We get A stAte, FIU and Wky at home.. I like our chances.

very interesting tidbit out of the Sun Herald in Gulfport, Ms a list of the top 40 JUCO players and which school they have signed at Troy has a QB, LB, DB, P, LB. 5 total from the list of the top 40. While this means nothing of future success I guess Troy is trying to rebuild by raiding Mississippi Junior Colleges

Correct which is why I'm not projecting them to win it because their defense is good enough to do it. However, I still expect them to be in the hunt.

Yeah, it looks like fully half of their commits are JCs. And I think they have something like 27 commits!
