Like I had posted a 40K difference with UL and TECH---They bring 25K less for a huge embarrassment to the Poinsettia Bowl with their lowest ever attendance and we bring 15K more to NO for their greatest game ever!!!!!! Please tell me we are using this in our recruiting!!!!

I don't think Tech would have had near the fans in N.O. that we did, but I don't know that we would have had more fans in San Diego than they did. TCU didn't have many fans either. It is an expensive flight vs. a short drive. Not trying to defend Tech. Just saying that I am grateful that our first bowl game was in N.O. and not in San Diego or Detroit.

Boomer you are talking apples and oranges. Yes we can point to our great fan support in New Orleans but I can guarantee that a lot of those fans would not have made the trek to SD had we been placed there. Being our first bowl in some time we might have brought more than LII but not in the numbers we had in NO.

BTW, what did you have for breakfast this morning and how did that compare to what they had in Ruston?

Different spin......sunbelt bowls are regional to SE. WAC bowl.....only one tie in remains next year is in Boise. As such, we will beat them every year

Go read my post about the Nielson ratings and what happened with the 2 bowls---then come back with some negative complaint--- Did you ever try to sell anything in your life??????
