I'm just glad we finally have a big time talent with great potential behind center for us.

Right... and a big time talent split wide to throw it to. Last year defenses would load the box on us. Won't be able to this year.

You got Sampson on one side and Timelord Williams on the other. Both big targets that can take the top off of coverage. You got Charles Robertson working the intermediate and maybe Rahji working underneath. Then you got a capable TE with Caden Jensen as a safety valve. I think this offense is one of the most underrated we've had going into a season and I'm all here for it

Offensively, the right parts are in place. I’m so damn excited.

Walker is at his best when playing at a high tempo. This needs to be a F1 type of offense, like 80 yards in 2 or 3 minutes.

We better have a line upfront to block. Doesn't matter how good your QB is if defenders are in the backfield and in your face within half a second after the snap. Marshall's defenders ate us up on the line in the SBC Champ game.

Still hard to believe that we stunk it up so much in that game. It was really bad.

Both teams had distractions going into the game. Marshall's was much publicized, for obvious reasons, and ours much more internal, as I'm willing to bet it was already known that week which players were bolting and some already had destinations.

Marshall's entire team was motivated like hell, fueled by the drama of their administration, to win that game for their coach. Even though many of them knew they'd be leaving, they wanted badly for Coach Huff to go out on top, a big middle finger to the university leadership that jerked him around.

Meanwhile, we had several guys playing not to get injured so they could capitalize on their new "NIL" payday. They couldn't wait for that game to be over.

Plus that whole, 2 injured QBs and a true freshmen QB against a 1st round draft pick on the edge thing..
