I agree. But I think Lunch is better than both in their first year. Let’s see how he does in his second year now that he has experience. He may not become the passer Ben was or the escape artist Levi was, but a great combination of both. Then get scooped up by big money in his senior year.
I think lunch is better than Levi was the first year. He played for sure. The question is gonna be how does he progress Levi progressed tremendously from year one year two in the starting role can lunch do that in the year too I don’t know. I agree that he will never be the pocket passer that Ben was, but he’s got a quality arm and he makes good decisions for the most part. my major concern with him is with all the running that he does. Can he stay healthy for a full season?
1992: 2 wins, 9 losses (2–9 overall, 1–7 in the SEC)
1993: 5 wins, 6 losses (5–6 overall, 3–5 in the SEC)
1994: 4 wins, 7 losses (4–7 overall, 3–5 in the SEC)
1995: 7 wins, 4 losses, 1 tie (7–4–1 overall)
Only bowl game he had was in 1995 Independence Bowl when LSU coached by Gerry Dinardo beat Michigan State coached by Nick Saban.
YIKES
And in 1995 he only played in 3 of the wins, lol

Wow. People come on this board and act like this football program is some sort of dynasty. You bash local kids, local coaches, yet the large majority of you aren't willing to reach in your wallet to by season tickets much less donate to the cause. Always easier to complain.
