I’m not sure who you’re talking about but if we won those games. We would have 9 losses. Anybody with only 9 losses in a top 5 conference still had a shot to host.

I’ll say if we get to selection Monday with less than 20 losses and 40 wins we get in. So go 8-5 the rest of the way and 1-2 in the conf tourney. Thats 40-19 at selection time. We get to that number...

I learned that recently, haha. Just proving there are a number of good rpi teams that aren’t going anywhere.

Auburn is 20-20(2-16)
Rpi is 42 though. So are they ahead of us for an at large right now?? I don’t think so.

I understand that. OWP and OOWP is what it is. And it’s 75% of our rpi. Our record against that number(oowp slightly affect by our record) is our rpi. Who we win and lose too doesn’t change it.

Good news. Win or lose the rest of the way. There aren’t any bad rpi games left on the schedule. Jackson state won’t help but really won’t hurt either.

When we were 6-6 blowing a lead to Tulane on Friday night I saw a .500 team. So nothing would suprise me the rest of the way.

Because we took a hit in
1. Our record
2. Opponents overall record
3. Opponents opponents records( that’s why their rpi is so bad)

Those are the 3 factors in the rpi. Plus the home loss...

The loss sucks no doubt. I’m more concerned about what the coastal series may have done to our pitching staff. They don’t look as confident. Hopefully they get the swag back fast. Schedule is brutal...

If we go 3-1 this week it doesn’t matter which team the loss is against as far as rpi goes.

So if you have 10 losses on the season against the 10 worst teams or 10 best teams on the schedule....
