By the way, below 12 is our goal. Last night we had only four in second half and OT. Winning basketball there.
Against Tech we had 8 first half and 5 second half turnovers.
I’m realistic knowing there’s always bumps in the road during a basketball season. But these guys respond well. Maturity is priceless.

Isaiah did not do much last night but he did have a key play against ETSU in the Asheville Tournament finals. Forced a misfire on defense late in the game.

I am hoping he improves to the point he can be used to spell JB in the first half anyway, to keep him fresh and hopefully low on fouls, for the second half.
He plays with a lot of energy, let's just make it productive!

Wow who would have thought that The Big Fish would bring some excitement to UL doing a time of year we've been spoiled the last few years and we're not even guaranteed a bowl game this year. Hopefully they can keep it going until diamond sports season

Realize any team runs the table in the SBC is still has a 1 out of 14 chance to punch the NCAA ticket. Enjoy the ride.

So we should not care about any of these games?
I think everyone realizes that we still need to win the SBC. But winning as many games in the regular season does a few things for us. #1. Will help us improve whatever seed we might get in the NCAA’s and B. Improve our chances at a NIT bid. And 3. It makes the season allot more fun when you are 25+ wins vs.20+ losses. And D. Allows us to complain about something else.

Bull.
At-Large bids are never out of the question if you schedule accordingly or win enough games.

Never said don’t care. Way we’re playing now, a 20 win season looks very promising. If we can sweep the Texas/CCU/ODU road stretch, the dome will be rocking in January.

Isaiah’s job is to gobble up minutes and give us whatever he can as far as points go. We need him to give JB quality breaks. I don’t care what he scores. I need him to defend and rebound and clog up the middle.
He didn’t give us allot last night but the 4-5 minutes he gave us were huge because it allowed JB to not get that 3rd 1st half foul.
Re: MBB OT Final : Louisiana 76, SMU 72
A few years back SFA was a 12 seed out of the SLC. They did win the tournament, but a 12 seed is an at large seeding. If they lost in the finals and properly seeded they might have been a 13 seed at large. Let’s focus on Drake, and every game going forward.

Best start to a Louisiana men's basketball season (after 5 games) in 33 years.

Well that would be one of Marty’s teams. If so he also won one in the dance.
