I would have been fine with this press release to invite the blue collar fans to donate anything possible to the cause. Nothing wrong with a grassroots campaign at this stage of the process.

While I can't say I give thousands, I've steadily contributed since the inception of RCAF and I totally agree. The longer the university waits the more the price tag goes up. At the same time more people will lose interest and be more reluctant to contribute.

Transparency is needed in terms of money in the fund, commitments for donations made, and how much $$$ in terms of both of these items is necessary for the university to pull the trigger.
