True or false, Martin Hall contacted you to ask and intervene in the thread.
Is it possible to start another thread?
Re: Where is the thread, Turbine?
I respect turbine for what he has done With RP over the years. I was a critic of the thread. But deleting it and suddenly going down for several weeks is too big of a coincidence. It’s a trust issue. Can I trust this site to allow important conversations without being censored? The answer at the moment is unequivocally no.

So yes, in that regard, a 2008 conversation I had with David Walker still echoes in my head.

I know nothing of the 2008 conversation
And I also know of no legal concerns.

Lol

Well I'm no lawyer and my worries may be baseless, but like I said; "Any legal concerns were my own."
In 2008 the worse thing that happened was I got kicked off the sidelines.

Really. Not to mention that he answered your questions in an honest and straight forward way. The fact that that was enough for you says everything about your motives.

That would have been a ridiculous request in today’s message board environment
Kudos to you for not caving to that demand
Re: Where is the thread, Turbine?
Well I'm glad the site is back up. Even with the black helicopters flying around.
Re: Where is the thread, Turbine?
a. how long had the negotiations for a deal been in the works?
b. what would a thread have to do with that failing or not
c. am i only one who never even heard of the deal until a few days before the thread takes the site down, allegedly
d. any updates on deal or plan, any news coverage?

Re: Where is the thread, Turbine?
I don't think it can be explicitly laid out that the admin came in and shut it down. There are plenty of nuances to this shut-down that makes me and other posters think this was more than an "upgrade". I bet we can test this theory by firing up that old thread again. Oh it's been deleted? Well there you have it folks.
