How did he exceed expectations? Wasn't this team picked to win the conference by the vote of the SBC coaches?

That's why I think the time and place for this thread is when another season is underway, not after we just got eliminated in heartbreaking fashion.
According to all the coaches & the media at the SBC media day preseason wasn't UL picked to win the conference? Then how is it a surprise they won?

I was on those threads and never saw it. Name the folks then.

Coach Glasco has more championship then all the other UL coaches combined. The jury isn't out on softball.

Merged into the game thread, no whacks.

Absolutely, but doesn't require me to hope we lose to get the end results.
Re: Is Marlin the guy for the program?
I let go my season tickets this year because I don't believe Marlin is the guy.
I watched the game last night pulling for the Cajuns. I would hope everyone would think about the players before pulling against them.
My answer is No.

I don’t need to name anyone. It’s the same usual suspects that have been openly saying they hope the Cajuns lose so Bob gets fired. And if turbine says he didn’t whack them and merged them into the game thread then it should be there for everyone to see who said what.

Who said that they wish the team to lose? I have yet to see that posted.

Openly saying that where? I have yet to see anyone post that they want the Cajuns to lose.
Re: Is Marlin the guy for the program?
I did not want our team to lose, but I was not surprised when they did not.
Bob Marlin coached teams at Louisiana have never beaten a top 100 NET or RPI Power Conference school.
I had hoped last night would be different.

Exactly!
Each year we've had a legit NBA talent on the team, we've made it to the tournament.
Meanwhile, other smaller schools in the state have advanced to the second round and beaten teams within the top 100 RPI.
The fact that we are discussing this after a NCAA tournament appearance is an indicator of fan support for the leader of our basketball program.
