The folks at Moncus Park might want to contact UL about contracting for parking at Cajun Field and shuttle buses. Moncus was short-sighted with their parking, and I don't know why they thought businesses wouldn't get fed up with the parking situation.

What Is Moncus parking capacity?

Agree. Inside the fence at Cajun field is very valuable and should have a decent price tag on it year round. Free should only exist outside the gates.

I would say don't give it away and then try to make up the difference on fans who will be donating before, paying during, and purchasing peripherals throughout and donating afterwards.

The price tag is what the university and the customer agree on. It’s not anyone’s business what that price is, outside of the university and the customer. SOME people on here seem to think the University is valuing their own property too low. So what? It’s none of their business.

The university is a publicly owned university. Most of the posters here are stakeholders in some form or another. We support the university that comes to us seeking donations on the academic and athletic side. It is entirely our business.

Uh no. It’s not. The problem is that you THINK it’s your business.

It’s not a trust issue. It’s a none of your business situation. You would lose that bet.

What government officials do is our business. Especially the business deals. Especially in Louisiana.

So you’re saying the general public has a voice in the UL/LCG land swap, the UL/OLOL purchase, the contracts to renovate the buildings/build buildings on campus, the Cajundome/LCG Agreement, tuition rates, purchase agreements, lease/rental rates, car purchases for the university police, etc?
Re: Mardi Gras at Cajun Field
If you care about the university and are invested in it with time and/or money, you care about them making bad business deals.
