Anyone know what, if any, covid restrictions will be in effect for the game?

ZERO, their are no excuses why not to be there. If you have fears their will be areas in the upper deck for you, if you don't have fears get your _____e$ to the game and sit in the stands.

No restrictions, but the upper deck will only have 2 people serving beer....
Re: Attendance Vs Nicholls
I'm afraid with Covid, a packed house won't happen anytime soon. Too much to deal with. LSU won't have a packed house either this season. Many people still scared to get out and about.

LSU won't have a packed house due to their vaccination requirement or negative test for entry. Did you see college football last weekend across the country? Covid will not be the thing stopping us from full capacity fans. It will be the same things that always have.
Re: Attendance Vs Nicholls
The 1st game took a little air out, couple that with an FCS opponent, drop off last year from Covid, and maybe 17,500. For future attendance, we don't need this game to be near close. We need a blowout.

Beat me too it. People are excited that college football is back. In spite of an ongoing pandemic, several fan bases showed out in weeks 0-1. Looked as normal as it’s been in 18 months.

Re: Attendance Vs Nicholls
Yeah, the new normal should be to expect a 15%-20% reduction of your usual attendance at sporting events.
There's only a handful of programs with a with a waiting list for tickets. Those are the only programs that will survive this.
Unless we can bring a Top 25 ranked, regional P5 school to Cajun Field, expect a good crowd to be 20K-25K fans. Expecting 30K fans is a pipe dream. We play in the SBC

4. Acadiana/Lafayette blame: 100% true. We don’t hold 100k for a game. We have a metro area that is roughly 500k and we can’t draw 25k every game. The bottom line is casual Cajun fans are the epitome of fair weather fans.
Are they putting up that stupid fencing along Congress where the free parking is? Hope they leave enough openings, it’s a pain to walk to an intersection.
Come on 71…
A casual fan

Greek life died when the university forced the house issue. Thanks Dr. Fossil.

With all due respect this is an awful take. I’m not even sure where to start.

Rankings aside we’ve been able to put 30K in Cajun Field since ‘76! Now that the SBC is a legit football conference it’s all of a sudden a pipe dream?! Come on, bruh!
Will Acadiana football fans finally show up at Cajun Field to support Napier's program?
Since Billy Napier arrived in Lafayette for the 2018 football season, he’s helped take the UL football program to exciting new levels.
The Ragin’ Cajuns broke a school record with 11 wins in 2019 and then followed it up with a 10-win season a year ago.
