Jorge Muneauxz ?
ps I'm with Cajun Monkee
A Trahan leaves and instantly becomes a TrayHan.
A TrayHan moves in and stays a TrayHan
Ain't right.

It's a Yankee influence corrective relic of Cajun society.
I had a very good friend (deceased) who pronounced his name DehZERmo

However a person pronounces their own name is correct.

The w is misleading and the 'n' is silent.
Similar to Trauhhaů

Yes it is a slight to pronounce the n
Re: SB SBC Tourney: Louisiana 1, Texas State 0
Man, started a 15 minute project this AM, and heck, I missed a lot.
Congratulations ladies!
All this name stuff, get back on track.
Only one name matters today. Winner!

There is a very soft 'n' at the end. There is certainly no emphasis on the 'n', so it is easily missed, but nearly every Trahan I know uses the soft 'n' at the end.
Re: SB SBC Tourney: Louisiana 1, Texas State 0
It can't be called, an "n" sound, everyone I know ends the pronunciation of Trahan with open air... not with their tongue tapping their pallet.
