Travis Webb said they were close to hiring him, not that it was a done deal...pretty much the same news we already know.

Closest thing I can find to a done deal is this...and this is no where near "done". But according to this article, the sources are from MSU. So it sounds like Mullen is leaving MSU for PSU.

Maybe I misunderstood- I heard Travis Webb say he took the job. I guess it not being on espn is telling, but it seems like this is coming.

So that's the million dollar question....is Penn State in it's current state...a dream job for Mullen anymore. Think of the questions, the stigma. That's like winning the lottery but it comes along with a job as a parole officer.

That being said, Mullen did tell the team less then an hour ago "I aint going anywhere, I am going to win an SEC championship at MSU". Take it for what its worth

Being anywhere near PSU the next few years is going to be a miserable existence while all the legal matters unfold. guys we cant worry about what we cant control. what we can control is going to our bowl games and finishing this season. For this group of Seniors, they need us supporting them, pullin for them. They earned this. They fought their asses off for you guys for 4 years and this season and this game is a reward for that. Let the coaching stuff take care of itself.
