I don't want to get ahead of ourselves but I have been of thinking of this senerio and would like to get some opinions.
Say we become bowl eligible but do not win the conference. Does the New Orleans Bowl do everything in their power to bring us to New Orleans instead of the SBC champs?
All depends on the records at the end and other invites...whether or not the other teams accepts the invites to New Orleans BowlQuote:

At if we're at six wins before november I'm getting a Hotel room and some tickets. NOB gets first choice and does not have to take conference champion, if would force the conference champion to either Mobile or Detroit.
Mobile has first choice this year.
My sister's wedding is the same evening as the NOLA Bowl. Imagine the ____ I'm going to give her if we win the SBC. BUT, I'm not worrying about it. As POB has said, enjoy it one game at a time.Quote:

Our only concern is if the SBC Champion is neither Troy nor the Cajuns. In that scenario we might be shutout of N.O.
I think we received a bid to the "Theoretical Bowl" a few years back. :D
