The answer is yes, and yes. But Tankersley will always have to work hard to stay eligible. She is not the most gifted student.Quote:

Played RF and led team in BA at .346 with 21 HR, 53 RBI, 44BB, 40 K
Made 14 appearances / 11 starts as a pitcher with a 1.36 ERA, 10-1 record, 56 K in 72 innings.
Yeah, from what I can remember, she was a very very gifted player!
Focusing on the current team, what is the scoop for next year? Which of the pitchers will be our ace, or are they going to use both? What about recruiting? --anyone?
Except for their first inning jitters I could not feel better about the pitchers we have coming back.
And I understand we have signed another "hot shot pitcher" out of TX...can't remember the location...that led her team to a state championship. Things are looking good if Tankersley can make the grades. We have some "sticks" returning. ..O.. :) ..O..Quote:

ps Daughter, caught for her fast-pitch team last night did well defensively made one errant throw (still learning). Hit Two doubles with the bases juiced knocking in Two each time and went on to score each time. So she was responsible for scoring 6 of the nine runs in a 9-2 win. Both teams were 4-0 on the season prior to this game. The kicker was the team we played and beat were from Scott and they had purple and gold uniforms with tigers on them and LSU on their hats(sad to have in an Acadiana town)!!! Glad we wooped them!
