Typo on my part...it said 12:21 PM (meaning ET), I changed the hour and forgot about the AM/PM part of it! :D
I sent out an email with the same thing to my tailgating crew and family members...none of them have noticed, or at least said anything. I noticed it after I had sent it all out of course.

I'm pretty sure it is the FOX station in Lafayette that shows them, channel 15 if I'm not mistaken.
I know they are shown on the CBS station in Baton Rouge.
FYI, this is the old JP Sports game that used to start off your Saturday mornings. Cartoons for us grown men, and women too...except we don't have to wake up so early.

The Cajuns/Dawgs should be there on DIRECTV. At least I'm hoping on it since I'm planning a get together for the game.
Opening college football Saturday is the BEST DAY OF THE YEAR! C'mon September 4th!!!
Updated: As of July 25th, Louisiana at Georgia is scheduled to be carried on the following satellite networks: ESPN GamePlan (ESPN-GP: DIRECTV - TBA, Dish - TBA)
Dang. Don't subscribe to GamePlan.

Isn't gameplan still offered on a PPV basis? Also, I thought it was the SEC game at 10 on Fox?

Yes, you can sign up for GamePlan, but it's not cheap. And since I already have NFL Sunday Ticket, I'm not going there.
Many times, they offer it outside of the GamePlan package as well. We will just have to see a few days before the game...

I believe he was only referring to DirecTV.
The SEC early games are broadcast on Cable/OTA by KADN Fox 15.

I saw too that it will be on ESPN3.com, so if you can hook a laptop or desktop up to your T.V., then BOOYAH!!! You have the game live!!!!!

Be careful not to rely solely on ESPN3. They tend to blackout games that are available on local TV markets. Not 100% that would happen, but just a warning

Hopefully CST or some Cox channel will have it, b/c we are expecting our daughter a week or so before that game and I'm not sure my wife will be too happy if I go somewhere to watch it and leave her at home with the baby.
So if ESPN3.com blacks it out then I'll be screwed and have to listen to it on the radio. I'm assuming that it will be on 96.5?

Re: SEC Network To Televise Season Opener, Kickoff 11:21 am
most of the gameplan games end up on espn3.com (formerly espn 360) if you have internet.

I've had ESPN3 access for a few years now...They have ALWAYS blacked out games that are on local TV. So don't expect this game to be available to you through that media. It will be shown OTA in markets all over the SE USA. Here is a link to give you info on the SEC Network.
http://www.espnmediazone3.com/us/201...r-sec-on-espn/
These games are usually picked up on the ESPN Gameplan too, but again blacked out in the SE USA since you can get it on a local channel. So don't rely on that to watch the game either.
ESPN always releases a blackout map the week of the game...I'll post it when I find it.

99.9% chance it will be. This is the SEC early game of the week. Unless KADN and the Baton Rouge CBS decide not to show football on the first week of the season, it will be on.

Last year all the gameplan games were shown free on internet at espn.com. It was hd quality too.

Most of the SEC Network games are blacked out here though. I'll post a map soon as soon as ESPN puts it out.
