I swear, Roberts throws like an old school pitching machine with the metal arm that scoops the ball and winds up slow. Then all of a sudden it launches the ball. It's like he's winding up a spring in there.

Middle leads off the 4th with a double that just trickles out of Goulas' glove as he rolled to the turf (on a dive attempt). Next hitter takes a pitch to RF for a base hit ... Goulas came up with it quickly as it was sharply hit and the runner was held at third base.
With one out, Guidry then hit a shallow fly ball to RCF. Goulas made the catch and threw home to nail the runner trying to tag for the third out.
Cajuns get out of trouble in the 3rd and 4th and still lead 2-0.

Wow MT has runner on 3rd and 1st w/ 1 out and we got a double play. That was huge in the top of the 4th.

Awesome performance by Zach tonight. The Blue Raiders can swing the stick and he frustrated them all night long.
Getting game #2 would be huge as there is a reasonable chance that only two games are played this weekend. If that is the case, 2-0 against Middle would be huge for the RPI.
