Cajuns tied at 1 in the bottom of 2nd.
Cajuns down 3-1. Sam Ryan being pulled in 2nd inning. Sam struggled big time today.
Now 5-1. Pitching woes continue, Cajuns not looking good on defense either.
Brutal to watch.
Doesn’t sound like we are improving at all. :(
The fact of the matter is that there are significant contributors on this season’s team that would not have stepped foot in the program for the last 25 years. Hate to be so blunt but it is what it is. Just have to make do with what we have.
Cajuns score 3 in 5th to narrow gap to 5-4.
2 on, 1 down in the 6th. Coming back.
Wow bases loaded, 1 out hit into double play.

Pitiful performing team now. We are actually declining. No improvement. It truly is sad to see, but Glasco really fauked us by tearing apart our team. We just do not have the players on this team to sustain our national prominence program at this point. Hopefully Coach Ali can get some portal players for next year because this ain’t it.
To expect this team to be nationally relevant is unreasonable. You don’t build a top 25 team starting with essentially a blank slate roster after the portal was basically picked clean.
To me, the expectation for fans should be effort, growth and development the rest of the year. Next season will be critical. I think this staff will figure it out.
White, Stutes or Soto should have pinch hit in that situation.Quote:

I know I need to change my expectation but the fear is we end up like the lady techsters of women’s basketball. National prominent team historically to basically just another in state softball program. Sad to see this.
