Almost a perfect day for Cajun fans. 6-1 on the day.
Extra bonus, TSAB came within 3 outs of being no hit at home by Omaha. Ninth inning rally falls short.
I have no idea how we won. S. Miss must be really bad. We missed or misplayed so many clutch plays at end. Could have built lead. Just glad they were worse. Hard to watch.

Presently 9th at 8-8, low man in 3 way tie for 7th. Mathematically can’t make top 4.
I like coach Zimmerman. He's a good guy
Coach Z is a quiet and humble person. But he is really driven to win. Does not throw his players under the bus but is honest about overall needs and shortcomings.
I like him. No clue on how he recruits or raises $$.
Tried to use the term dumbp on his players but the silly AI in charge thought that dumpb would be offensive. Based on today’s politicians I didn’t think civility mattered anymore. I still think dumpb on is valid.
Like I've stated before, Coach Z getting the job would be fine with me as long as he can recruit better than BM.
Somehow coach Z gets the most out of players. We all know we aren’t the most talented but they play extra hard!

I will say one thing that was pleasing last night was the guys did not let their struggles on the offensive end impact their effort on the defensive end. That has not always been the case and is why the Cajuns won the game. Coach Z has preached that and the need to be mentally tough at crunch time. Team has been making improvements in that regard. For awhile, I did not think this team could reach 10 wins and now they have 11. Pleasantly surprised. Kobe Julien and the Arkansas State Red Wolves come to town on Wednesday night.
