What are the thoughts on this matter
I tried to pay with cash at a football game. They told me they couldn't take it. I told them that they were breaking the law by not accepting legal tender.
I prefer cashless
Credit card companies love it.
1.17 Trillion in credit card debt which is 8.1% higher than last year.
The more the push for cashless, I would think the higher credit card debt will be,
I paid cash last night for 2 big beers at the bar and vics nuts

Hmm…
It's actually not against the law not to accept cash. I don't like cashless for a few reasons. First, I use primarily cash for everything. At Cajun Field there were some spots that took cash. Second, when paying with card they add fees that aren't advertised in the price. FTC just ruled that these hidden fees cannot be charged unless advertised in the full cost of ticket prices. That should also be done with these concession prices. I've been at Teurlings for basketball this week. Game ticket advertised as $10 but when you are forced to pay cashless online the ticket cost $11. Concessions advertised as $2 but when forced to pay cashless it cost $2.45.
