TE from Furman
6-5" 245lbs
Former Furman Tight End, 6'5, 245...Brock Chappell
Out of Cardinal Gibbens HS in the Charlotte area, big time high school program
He looks to be more of a blocking TE but did flash some nice hands and playmaking ability
If this kid is a blocking TE, I will take him all day long. He ended up with 22 catches for 214 yards and 2 TD's in only 11 games this season on a pretty bad Furman team. For perspective, he would have been would have been 6th on the team in receptions for the Cajuns and the #2 TE above Caden Jensen, who many of us think is a pretty good TE for the Cajuns. His 214 yards would have made him the 6th leading yard projection for the Cajuns almost 100 yards more than Caden Jensen and he would have been tied for 5th in TD's. Oh, and by the way, that would have been in 2 less games. Based on a 13-game schedule, his numbers would have been similar to Robert Williams and Jacob Bernard.
Same school that produced Billy Napier, right?
He looks like a Foster Moreau-type that could be really good for us!! .~..~..~.
