Tell me if something is missing
From a promotional standpoint, tell me what's wrong with the page in this link?

. . . it’s Lafayette news, not Louisiana news . . .

Let me play "that guy" here and just point something out.
The official name of our university is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Our branding, athletics and maybe otherwise for competing teams, is the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns.
So I can see why there is Louisiana at Lafayette and UL Lafayette in the two articles I viewed on that page. Now if there's an article talking about one of our athletic teams that refers to them as the Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin Cajuns, that would be an entirely different discussion...one that should be had in Martin Hall and the athletic complex to make sure that never happens ever again.

Haven’t had a news story since September

Yes and all valid points.
Nothing about anything since the second game of the season.
Nothing to invite ULumni to homecoming.
A micro partial answer to the question "Why aren't more people attending games?"
No promotion.

Start on the first page. Lots of links. Note watch parties for upcoming games. Tailgating info. Links to alumni accents.
Agreed news page isn’t updated. But note what is up to date. Also there v is a link to give your email for weekly update if interested. I get emails from four different UL sources cause I signed up for them.
Just saying.

We should do like every other "University of State" and reference the official name, eg: "University of Louisiana @ Lafayette" for the first reference and just "Louisiana" for all other references in the article. This complies with the system rule in every way.

What good is that if no one knows about that??? You think the average person on the street knows about that? Still comes down to lack of promotion as usual. Just sayin.
