I like the 4pm kickoff in November. At this point at 6-1, if we avoid ESPNU medaling with changing the kickoff to 11 or 2:30, we're doing okay.
I hate to mention it, but there's another game that night but it's in the 6:30 slot. At least we're not in directly competing times.

4pm kickoff for homecoming is great for me, it means I can drive in and drive out for this game and still get home at a decent hour, for me its almost a 3 hr drive and gets me home before midnight
Without the RCAF being part of the overall Foundation, tax deductibility for donations would come into question as well as matching gifts from corporations. I also think the RCAF can borrow from the overall foundation if need be. I have no proof but I firmly believe that happened when we were paying Billy Napier big bucks. Probably paid it back from the buyout Florida gave us when he moved on.Quote:

also the students have homecoming festivities in the evening it is after all homecoming, and not all of us are lucky enough to still live in Lafayette and we drive in to games and having one which can be a one day turn around is nice
