Does UL get a return trip to CF? App gets them in Boone....Maggard is a scheduling genius....
App gets a home game and we get an away? Also they called us just Lafayette, wow
That would have been a great team to open the stadium with next year, but I like this road trip
It’s the Leopards people
Not sure how this is accurate because it looks like we already have 4 non-conference games next year with hme games against Rice and McNeese and road trips to Eastern Michigan and Mizzou
Maybe their article is wrong and they are really hosting the Leopards of Lafayette
Never mind...but my point stands, regardless of the year, other SBC schools play these bigger schools at home, they find a way to do it,..home opponents matter!

OSU & WSU are going to run out of PAC NCAA units in time. They couldn’t lowball enough G5s to save the PAC (which now is technically G6). Notice their schedule, they’ve resorted playing each other twice next season. They’ve ventured into playing the SBC now that the MWC shunned them.
The PAC will become less and less relevant every passing day. Any doubts, look at the old PAC and its slow demise.
I wonder if Oregon State also thought they were scheduling the Cajuns
Sam Houston and App state both getting Oregon State at home.
Martin Hall marketing strikes again.
Future non-conference home games at Sam Houston:
Hawaii, UNLV, Tulsa, Colorado State, Oregon State, Troy, ULM, Ga Sou
Future non-conference home games at UL:
Rice, McNeese, UAB, Kennesaw State, Tulsa, La Tech, NMSU
Oregon State was in a bind, they needed to finish out the schedule for 2025 before the other MWC schools join the new PAC 12, they will be playing washington state twice and my guess is there isnt a whole lot of schools to pick from that had open dates for 2025. App and Sam Houston were two of them and they worked out a home and home vs money game. Right place at right time.
My post was unrelated to your blowout objection, objection.
My post had to do with the hazards of Martin Hall making Lafayette the focus.
It took zero research to know in 1999 and that the Lafayette angle would create confusion for the rest of the country.
There are people out there that think the Lafayette Leopards originate from an R1 institution and vise versa.
Bad marketing is residual, how many years has that warning been emphasized.
ULLafayette is on social media by the school more than ever.
Every time a Louisiana Ragin Cajun athete does community service the press release says UL Lafayette.
The rest of the country thinks Lafayette is a Community Engagement Institution.
Oh wait, they are.
